Eligibility
Should be in accordance of the 8th order of the 1984 “ma-dal” fishing orders and should also fulfill the 20th order as well
Support Documents Required
Documents for which the tax was paid
Document to prove ownership of vessel “ma-dal”
Documents required at various instances(according to the 1984”ma-dal”fishing orders)

Submission Procedure
Step 1:An application form can be obtained from the area fisheries inspector
Step 2:Submit the filled application and relevant documents to the Fisheries inspector

Procedure
Step 1:Obtain an application from the area fisheries Inspector
Step 2:Hand over the filled application and documents to the fisheries inspector
Step 3:Forward the relevant application and documents to the district assistant director
Step 4:District assistant director will forward the relevant application and documents to the director general
Step 5:Director general will decline or approve the owner and port and inform the district assistant director
Step 6:District assistant director will issue the license or inform the applicant of the outcome
Note:
This license must be registered and renewed annually and should be done using the sub annexure, this application must be filled and submitted through the area fisheries inspector to the district assistant director. no charges involved however, the receipt obtained by paying the relevant tax to the divisional secretariat must be submitted
