Minor's Savings Accounts

  1. Eligibility
    Being a Sri Lankan child below 18 years
    Should be transferred to a new account once the child becomes 18 years old
     
  2. Documents Required

    ►Duly filled application form (two parts) – Form A & A-II
    ►Signature Card (with child’s information and guardian’s signature)
    ►A copy of the birth certificate (The document confirming birth issued by the Director of the Hospital is also acceptable temporarily)
    ►Mother’s / Father’s / Guardian’s National Identity Card / Passport / Driving License
    ►Cash credit Slip
    ►Buhuti Gift Vouchers (if available)
    From time to time the bank issues these gift vouchers to the child free of charge and is valued at Rs. 200/- and should be deposited within 90 days. The pass book is issued only after the account balance increases upto Rs. 500/-
  3. Time Required to Provide the Service
