Services of Production Unit of Educational Publications Department

  1. Obtaining the statistics related to the textbooks to be printed from the I.T. Unit.
  2. Getting approval for the specifications prepared according to the information obtained.
  3. Obtaining the edited copies of textbooks and supplementary reading books which are being compiled by the Development Unit.
  4. Providing C.D. s / manuscripts of books to the printers after the tender procedure.
  5. Keeping record of the dated on which proof copies of the books are handed over to the Department.
  6. Forwarding the proof copies of the books for discussion and recommendation of the relevant subject coordinating officers.
  7. Handing over the proof read copies of textbooks or supplementary reading books to the printers for printing forward copies.
  8. Getting approval for printing those forward copies from the relevant subject coordinating officers and handing them over to the press.
  9. Providing forward copies of books to the library and to the relevant officers of the department.
