  1. Conducting tender procedures, evaluation, taking decisions related to financial matters and informing the relevant units.
  2. Delivery of textbooks to the textbook distribution centres.
  3. Making payments to the department officials and other employees.
  4. Preparation of estimates related to the departmental activities, obtaining funds accordingly, expenditure, reporting the expenditure to the treasury, maintaining annual final accounts of the department.
