The Age Limits for Importing Used / Reconditioned Vehicles
Motor Cars                                       < 3 years
Motorbikes                                       < 3 Years
Vans(13 - 25 seats)                           < 5Years
Busses                                            < 10Years
Lorries                                             < 4Years
Hand Tractors (2wheelers)                 < 10 Years
4 wheeler Tractors(Agricultural)          < 10Years
Three wheelers (Passenger)               < 2 years
Vehicles older than above limits need Import Control License(ICL) to import

Documents Needed to Import a Vehicle

• Customs Declaration
• Original of the Bill of Lading
  
• Certificate of Cancelation of Registration and It’s English Translation
  
• Invoice
  
• Original of the Letter of Credit(LC)
  
• Packing List
  
• Valuation Certificate of the Local Agent
  
• Delivery Order
  
• Quality Check report ( For Used Vehicles)
