Obtaining Housing Loans for Low Income Families

Granting housing loans to Low and lower middle Income families (Maximum Amount is Rs 500,000/-)

Eligibility to Obtain a Housing Loan

Low Income Family whose Monthly Income is Less than Rs 45,000/-
Should be Below age 55
Should Have Genuine Housing Requirement and Pre-preparation
Should Have a Suitable Land for Housing

Procedure for Submitting Applications
Applications can be obtained on every working days at all NHDA District Offices and on Wednesdays from Housing Officers Attached to Divisional Secretariats.

Application Fee - Rs 10/-
Perfected Applications can be Submitted During the Office Hours

Service Charge - 1%

Time Taken to Provide the Service
One week (7 days)

Documents in Proof of Confirmation
The Documents to prove the ownership of the Land:
Income Certificate, Plan of the House and Approval of the Local Authority, Declaration of the Guarantors and other Requirements Mentioned in the Application.
