Eligibility: Disappearance of fishermen in the due to disaster.

Process of Submitting Applications: Should inform immediately about the disappearance of the bread winner in your family in the sea to the Grama Niladhari an Divisional Fisheries officers.

Places From Where Application can be Obtained: The written request by himself

Fees Payable for Obtaining Application: No fees is charged

Time of Which Application should be Submitted: Immediately on occurrence of the disaster, dependents of the family concerned should make the application.

Fees Payable for Obtaining the Service: No fees is charged

Time Taken to Provide the Service (Ordinary Service and Priority Service): With in four days from receipt of recommended data of District Secretary.

Supporting Documents Required

  • That the letter from the Ministry of fisheries to the effect that the fishermen concern disappeared which at sea.
  • Copy of the entry in the police
